This section covers 2 payment methods entries. The pages here cover Philippine payment rails, including who operates them, what licence they hold, and what they state about limits, fees and settlement. All figures here are taken from the provider’s own domain or from a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas document, as affiliate sites copy payment numbers from one another with more carelessness than nearly any other kind of content online.

GrabPay explained

Operator: Grab’s Philippine e-money issuer, licensed as such, is GPay Network Philippines, Inc.

Published limit: A driver or merchant wallet takes PHP 250,000 loaded per month, a Standard Consumer wallet PHP 100,000, and a Restricted wallet PHP 10,000.

On gambling: What this e-wallet takes on gambling is a prohibition, the clearest position of any Philippine e-wallet examined.

Maya, in detail

Operator: Maya Philippines, Inc., which was called PayMaya Philippines and was originally Smart Money.

Published limit: Moving up from PHP 50,000 monthly at Basic, the limit is PHP 100,000 for Upgraded, PHP 500,000 for Super Users and PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users.

On gambling: Direct reading of Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions shows general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches, with no gambling clause.

The thing most often got wrong here

No one number describes a wallet limit in a way that lets you compare it directly. GCash states a limit on the balance you can hold at one time, while Maya states a total per month. They measure different things, and tables that set PHP 100,000 beside PHP 100,000 as if the two were equal are really comparing a bucket with a tap.

For each one, the page says which of the two sources it draws on. One kind of limit is reached by keeping money in an account, the other by sending it out, and no tidy table can merge the two.

Open the game and read its payment methods details there

Nowhere on a site like this do details expire as fast as in the payment figures. You can recheck each of them in a few minutes:

  1. Read what the provider itself writes in its help centre, and ignore comparison sites. Each of GCash, Maya and Grab posts its limits and terms on a domain it runs itself, and all three have changed them within the past two years.
  2. Work out which tier the quoted limit applies to. The wallet number most often quoted is the top-tier one, presented as if a new account got it, when a new account actually starts on the bottom tier.
  3. Look in the BSP FAQ PDFs for InstaPay and PESONet, not at a bank. Whoever pays the fee, and the cap per transaction, are decided by the scheme, so a bank’s page only covers what that bank charges.
  4. Whenever gambling and payments are involved, go through the provider’s whole acceptable use policy. The ban from GrabPay appears in its terms of service and not in a help article, which makes it the plainest wording of any provider listed here.
  5. Read each figure on these pages as being current to September 2026. That is the reason each page names the source of its figure.

  4. Keep the reference number until your balance shows the new figure, and look over the amount before you submit.

FAQ

Which one of these rails states a position on gambling transactions?

GrabPay, Maya. GrabPay takes the firmest line, a flat ban in its acceptable use policy on casino games and sports betting, with an exception only for activity registered with the appropriate government agency.

Deposit minimums appear nowhere in these pages, so what is the reason?

Because a deposit minimum is set by the operator's cashier, not by the payment rail, and no 888JILI cashier was checked during research. Any number put in that slot would be made up.

Are these figures current?

The snapshot was recorded in September 2026, and that is the date these reflect. Limits and fees change at the payment providers without warning, so every page points to the provider page its figure came from, which lets you recheck it.

Will a casino cashier take a GCash deposit?

Nothing in GCash's own terms bans gambling merchants outright; even so, BSP told every supervised institution in August 2025 to remove in-app gambling links, and GCash has shut out thousands of merchants that abused its QR system. Whether any licensed casino's cashier works this way is something none of that material states, and this site gives no such statement either.

What makes GrabPay different from the other wallets on this site?

It is the one rail whose own terms of service spell out a ban on gambling. GrabPay's own published statements rule out describing it to readers as an easy deposit route for casino play.

InstaPay or PESONet: where is the line between them?

Transfers through InstaPay settle instantly, the service is available all day and night, and a personal transfer tops out at PHP 50,000 each time. With PESONet, transfers are cleared as a batch on each banking day, and the scheme sets no overall cap. Size normally settles which rail handles a transfer, since larger amounts go through PESONet once they pass InstaPay's ceiling.
